COMMUNITY
The founders of The Photographic, Film and Music Community, (PFMC) are a husband and wife team Alexandra Sawyer and Alex Hudson who have worked within the Photographic, Film, Music and Arts Industries for a combined total of 47 years.
By using their vast network of contacts and rich knowledge acquired through the many years, they have helped many people to find work placements, receive financial support, gain business advice and to realise their dreams and passions.
Alexandra and Alex are cheerleaders, problem solvers, solution finders and they themselves are creatives. The demand for support and advice is considerable and this is why they created the PFMC Charitable Trust.

OUR MISSION
For the PFMC to see the value in everyone and to be a catalyst for positive change, guided and inspired by the Equality Act 2010 principles. The PFMC support and provide equal opportunities, to people involved in the photographic, film, music and arts industries.
PFMC help protect people from discrimination on the basis of their ‘protected characteristics’. The relevant characteristics for the PFMC are: disability: physical, mental, visible or invisible, poverty, ageism, gender reassignment, pregnancy, maternity, paternity, race (this includes ethnic or hereditary origins, skin tone and nationality), religion or belief, gender, pronoun choices and sexual orientation. The PFMC are always open to adding new characteristics that need our support.
Dealing with the challenges of present day demands, requires problem solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks, if the PFMC don't know the solution or can't help they will try to find someone or people that can.

We raise funds through contributions from the founders and their industry contacts. Grants and funds are provided by our charitable services. Try to overcome any stigma or fear you may have, from getting in touch, submit a contact form to discuss what you need help with and we can get back to you as soon as possible.
